Volkswagen Phaeton To Return In 2019
Volkswagen sells their Phaeton in various markets, the German car manufacturer had stopped selling their luxury car around the world. The main reason for Volkswagen halting production of this car was it had too much competition from established brands.
Volkswagen have now decided they will make a comeback with the Phaeton in United States. The German manufacturer will re-launch it in 2019. VW seems more confident about their product this time than the first time they offered it.
Volkswagen believe they need to have a strong foothold in America. They find it necessary to sell quality products, if they want to achieve the No. 1 status in the world.
Volkswagen CEO of U.S. Operations, Michael Horn has confirmed they will be getting their new Phaeton to United States not later than 2019, but details are sketchy.
We expect Volkswagen not to offer their W12 engine this time. It is most likely that the new Phaeton will get an all-new V8 twin-turbo engine.
The Phaeton offered exceptional safety and security options in the past, with eight airbags, laminated glass for privacy and four-wheel drive.
VW also offered Continuous Damping Control (CDC), adjustable air suspension, leather upholstery, 18-way adjustable electric seats and exceptional air conditioning as standard features in the Phaeton.
