TVS Motors Future Depends On Their Scooters & Not Motorcycles
The Indian automobile sector has been witnessing a slowdown in recent times. However, TVS Motors has managed to stay afloat, owing to the success of its scooters in the Indian market. The trend among buyers is ever changing and now buyers prefer the ease of an automatic scooter over a motorcycle.
TVS Motors had displayed a wide range of scooter at the 2014 Auto Expo held in New Delhi. They are focussing more on the scooter industry compared to the motorcycle market in India, due to the current buying trend. The Indian based manufacturer has witnessed success with its Jupiter scooter and sales have increased significantly.
TVS currently sells four automatic scooters for various riders. They offer Scooty Streak, Scooty Pep Plus, Jupiter and Wego. These vehicles are positioned to different buyers and caters to everyone's need. The scooters are aggressively priced and offer great value for money proposition.

The Indian manufacturer is betting high on its scooter range and by Fiscal Year 2015 will be revamping its range. TVS Motors believe that its motorcycle range will also pick up in terms of sales in the coming Fiscal Year. TVS had recently launched the Star City+ motorcycle in India and is highly acclaimed in the commuter segment.
TVS Motors is expected to launch more powerful scooters in the following years. They are looking at introducing more premium scooters for India, owing to its popularity among automatic scooter buyers. They will not shut down its motorcycles, however, the will focus on its scooter slightly more.
