Toyota Inaugurates Second Season Of Etios Motor Racing
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced that it will be hosting the second edition of its Etios Motor Racing(EMR) Trophy. They are going ahead with the competition, owing to success it witnessed last year.
This year the Etios Motor Racing Trophy will be held on the 19th to 20th of July, 2014. For the first time the event will be held on the tracks of Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore. It will be held parallel to the third and fifth rounds of National Racing Championship of 2014.
N. Raja, Director & Senior Vice President, Marketing and Sales, TKM expressed, "Toyota introduced EMR in India in 2012 with an aim to promote motorsports at a grass root level and make motorsports more accessible and popular in India."
He further added, "Partnered with one of the most accomplished names in motorsports history- Toyota Racing Development, EMR has provided a platform for talented young racers to develop their motoring skills, and further train them to gain a competitive edge for their future.

The 2014 Etios Motor Racing will consist of new and existing ENR drivers. In 2013, the event was held at Buddh International Circuit at Greater Noida. The winners of the inaugural season were, in third place Varun Anekar and second place went to Akhil Rabindra. The EMR Trophy winner in first place was Diljith.

C.S.Vigneshwar, Deputy Managing Director, Anaamalais Toyota commented, "We at Anaamalais Toyota are very excited as this is the first time EMR Trophy is being held in Coimbatore. As a part of Toyota's extended family, we have been a part of EMR ever since its introduction in 2012."
