Tata Motors Report Growth Of Two Percent In November 2014

Tata Motors have recently launched their new generation product the ‘Zest' compact sedan. The Indian manufacturer has high hopes from their new products. They had even showcased their Bolt hatchback at 2014 Auto Expo, earlier this year.

The Indian manufacturer has unveiled their sales report for November, 2014. Tata Motors has grown by two percent in terms of total sales. This sales report takes into consideration domestic as well as export cumulative.

In the period of November 2013 Tata Motors managed to sell 40,863 vehicles. During November, 2014 the Indian manufacturer sold 41,720 vehicles. They witnessed a growth of two percent in terms of total sales.

The sales of commercial and passenger vehicles in India by Tata Motors has been unchanged. They managed to sell 37,427 vehicles and has not witnessed much change. Tata Motors sold 10,376 passenger vehicles in November, 2013, however, they managed to sell 12,021 vehicles in November, 2014. This is an increase of 16 percent in terms of domestic passenger sales.

Tata Motors commercial vehicle segment dipped further down by five percent. In November, 2013 the manufacturer managed to sell 26,815 vehicles. They managed to only sell 25,406 vehicles in November, 2014. Their exports, however, has increased by 17 percent on a yearly basis.

Their new products are expected to change the sales figures of Tata Motors. The manufacturer will be introducing new products like the Bolt hatchback by early next year. They are also planning on introducing a compact SUV based on their new design philosophy in the following year.
