Ssangyong To Unveil Korando At Auto Expo 2014
The new compact SUV segment is a big hit in India and practically each and every manufacturer wants to have a product to offer. However, this is increasing confidence of manufacturers and they have been introducing SUV's without fear.
Mahindra's partner Ssangyong has made intentions to bring it's globally acknowledged Korando SUV to India. The SUV has achieved success in global markets and the same spec will be launched for India.
The Korean car manufacturer has updated the Korando for 2014. A new set of projector headlamps and DRL's, front grille too has been redesigned, while the bumpers get a sporty look and tail lamps will be integrated with LED's.
The Korando will come in three color options Cosmic blue, Carbonic grey and Sunrise red.
The inside of the car will feature a soft touch dash with a matt wood grain finish, multiple storage compartments including large cup holders, dedicated mobile phone tray and a tray for sunglasses.
The Korean car will have several safety features equipped like Electronic Stability Program matched with emergency brake assist and a four channel Anti Lock Braking System.
For Best grip and control on road or off-road, the four wheel drive will include Active Rollover Protection and Hill Start Assist in it's safety equipment.
The Korando will sport a 2.0L diesel turbo engine generating max power of 173bhp and 360 Nm of peak torque.
