Skoda India Launches Pollution Check Initiative
Skoda India has launched a 'Free Pollution Check' initiative with the help of Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM). The check up camp will commence on June 5th, 2014. The Volkswagen-owned group is launching the campaign to promote World Environment Day.
Skoda will educate customers on conservation and protection of the environment. 'Free Pollution Check Up' will be held in all Skoda dealerships across the country. Professionals will also give guidance on maintenance of one's vehicle.
The Czech manufacturer will be providing a technical personnel for every customer who decides to participate in the campaign. Skoda dealerships pan-India will check emission levels and engine health. The initiative will have engine cleaning devices as well as a CO2 emission detection device.
Every authorised dealer of Skoda has opted to be a part of the 'Free Pollution Check Up' on World Environment day. They will provide owners and buyers with tips and tricks for better longevity as well as maintenance of their vehicles.
Individuals who take part in the campaign will receive a PUC certificate for their vehicle. The certification will be authorised by Skoda as well as the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers(SIAM).
