Renault To Launch Two New Models
Renault India are looking to increase their market share in the country by launching two new cars next year. One will be a Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) and the other a small car.
Sumit Sawhney, Renault's India's CEO and Managing Director said that they have products ready and are looking to increase their market share to 5 percent in the next two years.

Currently, Renault has a market share of 2.6 percent and are looking to reach the 3 percent mark by the end of March.
In Kerala, Renault has a market share of 2.8 percent and they are confident that they will achieve 3.5 percent. The company has sold over 1 lakh Dusters and are very committed to deliver the right product to their customers.
Currently, Kerala has 7 outlets and Renault is planning to have 12 outlets by December. The company is also looking at increasing their overall outlets to 175 by the end of this year.
A new dealership was opened in Kerala, their seventh outlet, where customers are being offered free insurance and very attractive gifts to get their sales figures rising due to the upcoming Onam festival.
Renault India is already exporting the Dusters to a few international markets and is all set to become the production hub for their right hand drive model vehicles.
