Renault India To Launch Duster 4x4 This September
Renault was the first manufacturer to successfully exploit the compact SUV segment in India. It was the only compact SUV when launched, and the French manufacturer stole a major chunk of sales from its competition.
Now there are several manufacturers who have joined this segment. Ford has its EcoSport and Nissan has the Terrano, both these products offer certain benefits over the other. Currently, none of them have a 4x4 option and Renault plans to introduce it in its Duster.
The French manufacturer will again be the first in India to offer a 4x4 option in its compact SUV. They currently offer the all wheel drive in international markets, where their vehicle is rebadged as the Dacia Duster.

Also featured will be high and low gear ratios to complete the 4x4 drive experience.
The French manufacturer will offer the 4x4 option only in diesel and the RxZ trim. It will sport several additional features from the standard version. It will get keyless entry, Dual SRS airbags, ABS, EBD, parking sensors and an emergency brake.
