The new trim level is an addition to the 85PS engine variant and it's called Duster RxL Plus. This mid variant level trim addition is more of a safety pack as it provides anti-lock braking system, electronic brakeforce distribution and brake assist features as standard. The new trim level also gets dual front airbags as standard.
The Duster RxL Plus trim can be further spruced up with an ‘Options' pack that adds parking sensors and a driver seat belt reminder function.
Renault Duster RxL Plus has been priced at INR 10.6 lakhs, while the RxL options pack is priced at INR 11.17 lakhs (prices, ex-showroom, Delhi)
This variant of the Renault Duster comes powered by a 1.5 liter K9K diesel engine with a power output of 85 PS and 200 Nm of torque.
At the Auto Expo 2014 Renault showcased a special edition of the Duster compact SUV that sported an off-road pack. This pack added front bumper mounted headlamps, side plastic cladding and new graphics on the sides.
Unfortunately, the Duster special edition at the Expo was not based on the facelifted version of the compact SUV that was revealed late last year in international markets.
