Red Bull Secure A Win At The Formula One Hungarian GP
This Sunday the Formula One race was held at the Hungaroring. It was a mixed day with qualifying having being affected by rains. It was an interesting start with Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes AMG Petronas, starting from pit lane.
During the race there was several instances when the safety car had to come out on track. Red Bull Racing's Sebastian Vettel proved why he is among the best drivers, he had the most terrific save from a spin by avoiding the wall by millimeters.
In a bizarre change of events, the Mercedes powered cars did not look as threatening as they do on other tracks. Commentators claimed the temperature and track did not suit the German powered machines.

This made the race interesting, however, there was more added to it with a mix of tyre strategies applied by different drivers. Up until the last corner on the last lap, no one could tell who would win. Daniel Ricciardo with his Red Bull Racing machinery secured first place with fresh tyres compared to the others.
Scuderia Ferrari's Fernando Alonso drove exceptionally well and stretched his soft compound tyres to the very end. The Spaniard had to fight with the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg, who had fresher tyres compared to him. The image provided proves the degradation and levels of grip the Ferrari had to deal with.

It was after a long time that the Formula One race was not dominated by Mercedes AMG Petronas. Perhaps the rest of the pack is finally catching up with the front runners. However, the wet conditions cannot be trusted and the next dry race will prove how close the other teams are.
The teams now get a long break, however, they will be trying everything possible to improve their package during the break. The Formula One paddock will next compete at Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium between 22nd to 24th of August, 2014.
