Red Bull Racing May Quit Formula One
Red Bull Racing the 2013 Championship winner of Formula One may opt quitting from the sport due to politics and bad sportsmanship within the racing fraternity.
Red Bull was a dominant force in last years edition of Formula One, there was no serious threat from any manufacturer. They were particularly untouchable in terms of speed and ingenuity.
The Renault powered Red Bull Racing team was disqualified from the season opener in Australia. Sebastian Vettel reigning world champion was forced into retirement, while team mate Daniel Ricciardo was disqualified due to excess fuel flow than permitted.
Red Bull have filed a petition and a hearing has been set up for in the month of April.
Team officials believe F1 is not a sport where, a team should be rewarded for having used the least amount of fuel. They believe it takes the competitiveness out of the sport. Making the cars more frugal and silent isn't what the sport is supposed to be.
