Polaris Provides Four Off-Road Vehicles For J&K Rescue Operation

Polaris is popular for its off-road and all terrain vehicles. They have a wide range of products, the manufacturer offers selected models in India. These vehicles can be used for various purposes right from having fun to aiding in serious situations.

Currently Jammu and Kashmir is facing tough times due to the flood situation. The National Disaster Response Force has been using all their might to provide safety to the locals. Polaris has announced it will provide four of their off-road vehicles to aid the NDRF workers.

Polaris India has announced it will provide Ranger 6x6 800, Ranger Crew 800, RZR XP 4 900 and their Sportsman MV 700. The vehicles were graciously accepted by Sh. O.P. Singh IPS, Director General National Disaster Response Force in New Delhi.

Pankaj Dubey, Managing Director, Polaris India Pvt. Ltd., expressed, "Floods in J&K have ruined lives and livelihood and we at Polaris are saddened by the magnitude of this distressing tragedy."

He also said, "With the entire system of roads in and around the states damaged and non-existent now, apart from debris on the ground from thousands of destroyed homes, Polaris India can extend a hand of support to help accelerate the relief operations. These specialised Off-Road Vehicles will help in making this area accessible, due to its off roading capability."

They will also provide an ambulance based on their Ranger 6x6 model. It has been modified by Bafna Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., who specialise in manufacturing and trading of mobile clinics and ambulance vehicles. These will be of great advantage in the flood hit areas of Jammu and Kashmir, to provide medicines and other necessities.
