Nissan India had recently launched the refreshed version of its Sunny. They have a wide range of vehicles in India. They currently offer the Micra, Micra Active, Sunny, Evalia, Terrano and Teana. They have revealed their August sales report for 2014.
The Japanese car manufacturer reported selling 3,999 vehicles in August, 2014. However, in August, 2013 Nissan reported selling 2,494 vehicles. It accounts for 60.3 percent of increase in terms of overall sales.
So far, Nissan India has managed selling 21,596 vehicles in fiscal year 2014. However, the Japanese automobile manufacturer had reported sales of 9,988 vehicles in fiscal year 2013. This is an increase of almost 116.2 percent in sales for Nissan.
Nissan is impressing Indians by introducing several product campaigns along with other campaigns. They recently concluded their Nissan GT Academy hunt in India where participants were given the chance to drive at the Silverstone circuit.
Nissan India will be introducing new products in India, however, they have nothing planned for this year. There are rumours that Nissan too will get the all wheel drive system that will soon be introduced in Renault's compact SUV, the Duster.
The Japanese manufacturer has introduced their budget concious vehicles in India, under the Datsun brand. They currently offer only one model in India, the Datsun Go hatchback. They will soon introduce their MUV for India, which will be called the Datsun Go+. It is expected to be launched within 2014.
