Mercedes-Benz SL400 Launched With More Power
Mercedes has launched their new SL400 Sport, it will replace the earlier SL350. This will be their new entry level model in the SL class. Bookings have begun and deliveries will commence July onwards.
Mercedes-Benz will equip their SL400 Sport with a 2996 cc six cylinder engine, which will produce 333 horsepower along with 480 Nm of peak torque. It is over 27 hp and 110 Nm of torque more than the outgoing SL350.
The German car manufacturer claims the SL400 to meet EU6 emission norms. The cabriolet will sport two turbochargers, which facilitates the car to go from naught to 63 mph in 5.2 seconds.
The all new Mercedes SL400 is definitely faster; however, at the same time it isn't a fuel guzzler. It returns a decent fuel economy of 39 mpg. It has a top speed of 155 mph, which is restricted.
The cabriolet will have a host of new features, which include a FrontBass audio system, Magic Vision Control, DAB along with tyre pressure monitoring.
Mercedes-Benz will provide the SL400 Sport with 19 inch 5-spoke alloy wheels from AMG. It will also sport front as well as rear aprons, along with side skirts, again from AMG. It will also sport body color spoiler and sport derived suspension.
The interiors will sport AMG floor mats and brushed aluminium trim. SL400 instrument cluster will feature a chequered flag print. Steering wheel will be flat-bottomed along with silver paddle shifter.
The new SL400 from Mercedes-Benz will cost a 72,500 Pounds on-road. If you book one today, you would recieve your cabriolet in July.
