Monza GP To Be Dropped Post 2016 Threatens Ecclestone
Formula One has not been the same for a while now. First there was the new engines that were turbocharged. There has also been a new policy, where certain circuits have been dropped from the calendar. Monza is one of the historic circuits for Formula One.
In 2016, though Bernie Ecclestone may eliminate racing at the circuit. In 2010 Formula One had renewed its contract with circuit officials. However, Ecclestone explains he is not happy with the terms of the contract and may not continue with the Monza GP in 2016.
Bernie Ecclestone explains Formula One is a motorsport, however, they too have to make money and the current deal with Monza was a disaster. So far they haven't come to an understanding post 2016 and Formula One may not have an Italian Grand Prix, which is bad news for home team Scuderia Ferrari.

Formula One this year has been dominated by Mercedes and other teams that use the German made engine. Ferrari has been struggling and its best performance has come by Fernando Alonso, who is believed to be driving the wheels of the car given to him.
