Mitsubishi Lancer Evo XI Hybrid In 2016
When anybody talks about Mitsubishi, Lancer or EVO, the first thing that comes to mind is Fast & Furious movies and Paul Walker. For others they will recollect it as one of the best rally cars built till date.
The Lancer Evolution are affordable rally cars, that feature all-wheel drive. Mitsubishi provide new drivers with a great driving experience with their cars.
Rumor has it that the Japanese car manufacturer is in process of preparing a successor to their Evo X model. The new model will most likely be called the XI, which is roman numerals for eleven.
The current model on offer the XI looks stellar, however, most would not like the simple body kit. The new model will be muscular yet agile, maintaining the Japanese manufacturers core values.

The Mitsubishi Evo XI will feature a new front grille mixed with chrome and satin finish. New design elements for the front face. The headlights will have intake scoops for inducing cold-air into the engine bay, they will also have scoops to aid cooling of brakes.
The headlights will feature LED like most modern cars. Expect an aluminium hood with twin air scoops over it. The body kit will be broader giving it a stronger stance.
The new Evo will borrow, windscreen design from Mitsubishi's concept car XR-PHEV. At the rear a huge spoiler will be featured for better downforce. The taillamps will be redesigned for an aggressive look.
Performance figures will be revealed soon however, expect this car to be nothing like a normal hybrid car. If you want something conservative looking opt for Toyota Prius.
Mitsubishi is most likely to utilise their concept car XR-PHEV turbocharged engine. It will sport a 2.0 litre direct injection powerhouse mixed with an electric motor in the front and rear. It will also feature Mitsubishi's Super All-Wheel Control system.
