The all new MINI 5-door has been showcased at the Paris Motor Show on 4th of October, 2014. The additional doors add ease of access to the rear seats, where three can fit easily. The rear seats can also be dropped in a 60:40 ratio to increase luggage space.

The 2014 MINI 5-door is available in six engine options. On offer are either three or four cylinder mills, with or without TwinPower Turbo technology. The engines produce power in the range of 95 horsepower to 192 horsepower.

The British manufacturer has introduced suspension technology that will make driving more fun and pleasurable. They will also be offering a wide range of innovative driver assistance systems. The new MINI also will sport an optimised display, along with an operating concept.

It will be interesting to see if individuals choose the traditional 3-door option or the more convenient 5-door model. It is great news for Indians as BMW has got these products soon in to the market without any delay.

Pricing has not been confirmed and will be announced during the launch. Build quality of the MINI is expected to be of the top order. There will be no compromise in that department. Stay tuned as we will be reporting live from the event.
