Mercedes-Benz Records One Lakh S-Class Sales In A Year
Mercedes-Benz has recently launched in India its S-Class luxury vehicle. The German engineered product is filled with gadgets and gizmos that give you the best creature comfort on offer.
The three pointed star manufacturer had strategically launched its new S-Class in vital markets. They offered the vehicle in Germany, China, United States and India as well. The luxury vehicle has been well accepted by customers.
This is the very first time any of their products have received such an overwhelming response. Mercedes-Benz is proud to announce that it has sold over one lakh S-Class models within a period of a single year.
Ola Kallenius, Member of the Divisional Board of Mercedes-Benz Cars, Marketing and Sales, commented, "The sales figure of 100,000 S-Class models in just one year is the ultimate proof, the combination of high-class quality, exemplary efficiency and a host of innovative assistance and safety systems delights our customers and meets their highest demands."
He further added, "We extended our range of luxury cars at the end of September by including two fascinating and promising models in the guise of the new S-Class coupe and the S 500 PLUG-IN HYBRID."
The S-Class has been among leaders in luxury sedan sales for over a decade. Mercedes-Benz has also revealed that China and United States are their major markets. The German manufacturer tells us that China is the country that sees the most youngsters in an S-Class.
Mercedes-Benz offers in India their S-Class luxury vehicles in two variants. The German vehicles are offered as Completely Knocked Down units and are assembled at their Chakan facility in Pune. On sale are their S500 model, which costs INR 1,40,00,000 and the S350 that is priced at INR 1,10,00,000 ex-showroom, Delhi.
