Mercedes-Benz India has been launching product after product as part of their Year of Excellence campaign. The manufacturer, however, is not only focussing on new automobiles, it has other plans in place as well.
On 18th of December, 2014 Mercedes-Benz inaugurated 12 of their pre-owned car outlets across India. It has been christened as ‘Mercedes-Benz Certified'. The German car company has opened the doors to 12 outlets in a single day. It has been carefully developed for the Indian market.
With this new facility customers can safely buy used car from Mercedes-Benz Certified. They promise the used car buyer will be treated similarly to a brand new vehicle buyer. Their vehicles will also be provided with warranty and other service packages to give the new customer a peaceful buying experience.
Eberhard Kern, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, commented on the occasion, "We are delighted at launching this new brand which is designed specifically for the Indian market. There has been an increased demand for the pre owned Mercedes-Benz products due to their superior build quality, tested reliability, and impeccable craftsmanship, leading to their high re-sale value."
He further added, "Mercedes-Benz enjoys a strong equity in the market and with ‘Mercedes-Benz Certified' we will cater to this growing demand and delight the customers with excellence, which is synonymous with the Three Pointed Star. This has been a successful year for us and we are happy to end it on a high with this launch."
Mercedes-Benz Certified will provide vehicles, which have been inspected for quality by their trained staff. It will follow strict global standards that the company adhere to. No vehicle will be sold that has been used for more than five years.
Each and every vehicle will have no more than two owners. It would also have no accident history and will not have been driven for over 1,00,000 kilometres. Mercedes-Benz Certified will provide 20,000 kilometre, along with a warranty period of one year on their vehicles.
