Mercedes-Benz Edition1 A-Class & B-Class Launch On 24th June 2014
German automobile giant, Mercedes will be launching its Edition1 models in both the A-Class and B-Class series in India on 24th of June, 2014. At the beginning of the year, Mercedes-Benz had declared 2014 as the year of Excellence. They had promised to launch ten products within the year and are on the right path to achieving this target.
So far the German luxury car manufacturer has launched six vehicles and will take the total to eight with the launch of A-Class and B-Class Edition1 vehicles. The Edition1 model will be available only in the diesel trim and will be sold in selected numbers.
The Edition1 of A180CDI and B180CDI will be the same model that Mercedes-Benz offers internationally. The interiors and exteriors of Edition1 will not receive any major update. However, it will be loaded with tech goodies and special features limited to the model.

Mercedes-Benz will provide the cars with new alloy wheels, sport inspired decals, panoramic sunroof and the special Edition 1 badge. The interior will be even more premium and luxurious than the standard variant vehicles. The Edition1 will focus on creature comfort and entertainment needs for rear passengers.
The A-Class and B-Class is expected to be increased in height to tackle Indian road conditions. The Edition1 will also provide more firepower under the hood, however, no drastic changes are expected from the German manufacturer.
