Maruti Suzuki Working On A 2015 WagonR
Maruti Suzuki has been flooded by bookings for the automatic version of their most affordable small car, the Celerio. Now to divert the attention of buyers who cannot wait for their Celerio, the Japanese manufacturer will produce a new WagonR for 2015. They believe that this will be a great opportunity for them to capture those who want a Suzuki however, cannot wait for a year for the Celerio.
Suzuki had recently launched their more premium and attractive looking WagonR Stingray. However, we haven't heard of many people buying the vehicle. So now the Japanese manufacturer will launch an all-new 2015 WagonR.
Rumor has it that the engineers at Maruti Suzuki will be working extensively on the engine to produce more power while still making it great on fuel efficiency. There could also be a diesel mill specifically built for the 2015 WagonR. They could also provide an automatic transmission which has received high praises from everyone in the auto sector.
The hatchback by Maruti Suzuki could look similar to the current-gen WagonR that the manufacturer sells in Japan. It will retain its boxy design however, it could receive a better looking front grille along with a redesigned headlamp cluster and bumpers. Do not expect dramatic exterior changes as Maruti Suzuki would like to stick to the originality of their WagonR hatchback.
In the rear we expect the Japanese manufacturer to introduce LED lights in the tail lamp unit. The bumpers are expected to get a bit more bulkier adding an illusion of the vehicle being bigger than it really is. Other than that we do not see any other significant changes in the rear of the WagonR.
The interior could get a two-tone effect adding a bit of character to the vehicle within the cabin. They could introduce a special TFT display audio system in their top most variant however, we will have to wait and see what they could surprise us with. Pricing cannot be confirmed right now, we expect they will not increase the price of their 2015 WagonR significantly.
