The Ciaz by Maruti Suzuki is one of the highly anticipated sedans to be launched in 2014. The Japanese manufacturer had revealed their new sedan at the 2014 Auto Expo. The vehicle has since then been spied several times in India testing on our streets.

Products from the stable of Maruti Suzuki are hugely popular with Indians. However, the Japanese manufacturer has never done well, when it has launched a product at a premium. Their last new product to be launched was the Celerio hatchback.
We all know the success of Celerio in India and Maruti Suzuki would like to replicate its magic with the Ciaz. The pricing of their new sedan, which will replace the SX4 in India, will be crucial. Knowing the Japanese manufacturer, it is evident they will be spot on with their pricing.
The Japanese manufacturer has also roped in Ranveer Singh as brand Ambassador for its Ciaz sedan. Currently they are shooting an advertisement with the new sedan and celebrity. Maruti Suzuki has revealed to us their poster with the Bollywood actor.
The Ciaz will borrow best of both worlds from its older sibling Kizashi and its predecessor SX4. It will borrow design cues and the interior from Maruti Suzuki's premium car offering, while the engine will be from their SX4 sedan, which will be soon phased out.
We expect the Japanese manufacturer to price its Ciaz roughly between INR 7,00,000 to INR 9,50,000 ex-showroom. When launched Maruti Suzuki Ciaz will compete against the mighty Honda City, Volkswagen Vento, Ford Fiesta and Hyundai Verna.
