Maruti Suzuki Offers Customers Discount Of INR 90,000
India's largest four-wheeler manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki, has also been affected by the economic slowdown in the domestic market. To boost sales figures the Japanese manufacturer will now be offering huge discounts on select models.
Maruti Suzuki will be offering discounts on most its models with a maximum discount of INR 90,000. The Japanese manufacturer will be providing discounts on its Alto, Ritz, Wagon R, Stingray, SX4 and Ertiga. Many other manufacturers are also trying to woo in customers with either discounts or benefits.
The discount offered by Maruti Suzuki can be clubbed together with exchange offers as well as corporate discounts. This will make the vehicle more affordable and should attract more buyers. The range of discounts varies from INR 10,000 to INR 90,000.

Maruti Suzuki has been doing good numbers with its latest offering, the Celerio automatic hatchback. However, the other products it offers aren't doing well and have been witnessing a decline in sales figures. Its new product showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo, the Ciaz, is bound to launch soon.
The Japanese would like to launch the Ciaz sedan, which will take over the position of the SX4 in the Maruti Suzuki family. They would like to launch their product on a positive foot and not amongst losses. In the month of May, 2014, the manufacturer has seen an increase in sales and witnessed growth by 51.2% over May, 2013.
