The Ciaz sedan will replace the SX4 in India, as the market for it has diminished. Like the SX4, Maruti Suzuki will offer the Ciaz sedan in petrol as well as in diesel. However, the Japanese manufacturer may introduce changes to the engine.
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz will sport a 1.3-litre Multijet diesel powered mill, which existed in the SX4. The Japanese manufacturer will provide a petrol engine that powers the Ertiga. It will be a 1.4-litre K-series engine, it will be mated to a manual gearbox and could also get CVT option in the petrol variants.
The Ciaz will be more premium than the SX4 sedan, it will be packed with several safety features too. The pricing of the vehicle has not been revealed, however, we are expecting it to be at a premium compared to the SX4 that it will replace in India. The Ciaz by Maruti Suzuki is expected to usher a new wave of buyers to its sedan segment in India.
