Mahindra Electric Car Rally - Bangalore’s Electric Invasion
On the 28th of June, Bangalore witnessed the largest gathering of Mahindra e2o owners in the city. This rally was organised by Mahindra to promote and let people welcome more electric cars. The participants also promoted awareness about the environment.
"Drive for a Better Tomorrow", was the theme of this rally, and it saw a large number of Mahindra e2os come together. The course was a five kilometre drive around the city for the proud owners of these little electric vehicles.
Chetan Maini, CEO of Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles Pvt. Ltd said he was very happy to see this gathering, which is the biggest in the country till date.
Towards the end of the rally, the e2o customers planted tree saplings. Around a 100 were planted to promote a greener, cleaner tomorrow.

Mahindra had showcased its next generation automatic electric cars in Delhi last year. These cars have zero emissions and are Mahindra's future of electric mobility.
Zero emission cars will be vey welcome, especially in a growing city like Bangalore. In places like this where there are numerous cars being added to the road everyday, pollution is a major concern.
Since the size of these cars are small, parking and maneuverability in city traffic will be easier and so will finding a parking spot.
