Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini has been impressing everyone with its products. This time, however, they have opted to support the Italian State Police sports association known as ‘Fiamme Oro'. The two Italian Supremes have decided to work together for a period of two years.
The Fiamme Oro is Italy's State Police sports division, which is dedicated to train high profile athletes in over 40 sporting events. They have nine national centres for training and the organisation was established in 1954. Their primary goal is to maintain and promote their sporting heritage.
Stephan Winkelmann, CEO and President of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., commented, "Our close relationship with public institutions and our firm commitment to social and ethical responsibility are strengthened today by this agreement with Fiamme Oro."
He further added, "We have a very strong group of athletes whose sporting achievements raise the prestige of our country and spread an important message: from commitment comes excellence."
The partnership of Lamborghini and Italian State Police began back in 2004. The Italian supercar maker had then offered a Gallardo to the police as part of their community service. Their partnership has been renewed by the delivery of a fifth Lamborghini Polizia in the form of a Huracan LP 610-4, which will be used by the Highway Police.
Automobili Lamborghini will be the technical sponsor for Fiamme Oro for a period of two years. They will provide athletes with pre- and post-competition outfits. It includes new uniforms, tracksuits, polo shirt, jacket, cap and sports bag for both summer and winter games.
The outfit has been designed by Collezione Automobili Lamborghini, their clothing and accessory line at the Sant'Agata Bolognese facility. The outfits will bear both Fiamme Oro and Lamborghini logos and all items will be in official blue and crimson colours.
