JCB India Powers Ahead
JCB is India's biggest manufacturer of earthmoving and construction equipment. George Osborne, Chancellor of the Exchequer, recently visited India. He made time out to meet the Indian engineers that work for JCB at New Delhi on the 8th of July, 2014.
The meet was held at Delhi residence of the British High Commissioner Sir James Bevan. The engineers from JCB india also meet the William Hague, Chancellor, Foreign Secretary and several other dignitaries.
Vipin Sondhi, MD & CEO, JCB India Ltd. expressed, "The employees meeting the Chancellor have gone through an exhaustive one-year training programme at the JCB factory in Ballabgarh to become engineers."

He further added, "Their hard work is paying off and they are determined to study further to advance their careers in what is a very male dominated industry. We have an unwavering focus on commitment to training and people development which will only intensify in the coming years."
JCB India headquarter is at Ballabgarh, Delhi. Swati Gupta, Kavita Verma, Hem Maurya, Divya Patsaria and Priyanka Bansal, these individuals have secured diplomas in Electronic or Mechanical engineering. The average age of this group is early 20s. They hold various roles in JCB India ranging from Assistant Managers to Assembly Line Leaders.
JCB currently manufactures 300 different models of earthmoving and construction equipment. The manufacturer sells its equipment in over 150 countries. JCB has three facilities in India, which are at Ballabgarh, Haryana near New Delhi and another two in Pune. The manufacturer also has 600 outlets across India.
