Jaguar F-Type Project 7 Marks Its Debut At Le Mans
Jaguar revealed its limited edition, most powerful and fastest production vehicle till date the F-Type Project 7. The British icon celebrated its 60th anniversary this weekend and marked the debut of F-Type Project 7 at Le Mans Classic.
The F-Type Project 7 ran a few laps at Le Mans Classic alongside the first D-type along with a bunch of F-Type R Coupe. The limited edition vehicle sports a 5.0-litre V8 supercharged petrol engine. The supercars engine will produce 680 Nm of peak torque, along with 567 bhp of maximum power. The supercar will sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a quick 3.9 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 300 km/h.
Jaguar F-Type Project 7 will be built under the supervision of Jaguar Land Rover's Special Operations Division. The supercar will be constructed out of aluminium and bespoke carbon fibre aerodynamic components. It will receive a special suspension setup for a more focused driving experience. The standard version will get race inspired bucket seats, carbon ceramic brakes along with torque vectoring.

The street legal F-Type Project 7 two seater roadster marked its debut at the very same place its D-type won Le Mans three times. It was the D-type Jaguar that inspired the engineers to create the 'Project 7'. The Jaguar D-type and F-Type Project 7 did several demonstration laps together on the track.
At the Le Mans Classic several Jaguars took part, however, highlight of the weekend was Gary Pearson and journalist Chris Harris that competed in a D-type. The competition was open only to models between 1957 to 1961. Jaguar have not revealed the prices and is believed to be highly exclusive.
