Volvo & Infosys Sign Multi Year Software & Application Services Deal
Infosys has announced that it has stuck a new deal with Volvo Car Corporation under which it will develop application software for the automaker's global operational requirements.

Infosys, which has been providing its software services to Volvo since 2010, will provide application development services to the latter that will support multiple domains, including marketing and sales, customer service, manufacturing, product development, and corporate functions.

Speaking about their new deal stuck with Volvo, Nitesh Bansal, Vice President Manufacturing Europe, Infosys said their partnership with Volvo Cars reflects their focus on the Nordic region and will help them in strengthening their base in Sweden.
"We will be a strategic supplier for Volvo Cars to deliver excellence and innovation to transform their IT landscape to a modern architecture. We are very pleased to collaborate with Volvo Cars in their strategic journey. We have an industry heritage, deep automotive expertise and established track record of delivering that leaves us well positioned to be a strategic supplier to Volvo Cars," Bansal added.
