South-Korean automobile manufacturer, Hyundai has launched a few new products in India this year. Their most popular vehicle is their newly launched premium hatchback, the Elite i20. Now the manufacturer has achieved a milestone with their new product.
Hyundai had launched their Elite i20 four months ago in India. The manufacturer has achieved securing 56,000 booking for the hatchback out of 3,00,000 enquiries since its launch. They have also achieved another milestone by selling 10,500 Elite i20 in November, 2014 alone.
The previous generation too had not witnessed this type of success claim Hyundai. Elite i20 is their second generation product and is more premium over its predecessor. In 2014 the South-Korean manufacturer has launched an array of products like Grand i10, Xcent, Santa Fe and lately the Elite i20.
Rakesh Srivastava, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing - HMIL commented, "We are overwhelmed by 56,000 customer bookings on strong appreciation and acceptance of the new Elite i20 making it a huge success. The demand of Elite i20 has doubled and in November we sold 10,500 units."
He further added, "We are working towards increasing its production for faster deliveries to offer a delightful experience to customers. The Elite i20 has seen heightened response across the country for petrol and diesel variants creating new Elite customers for future."
The new Elite i20 by Hyundai is offered with both petrol and diesel engine options. Both engines provide excellent fuel efficiency and are best in class with the diesel mill retiring figures of 22.54 kpl. The petrol engine powering Hyundai's hatchback return a fuel efficiency of 18.60 kpl, which has been certified by ARAI.
