South Korean automobile manufacturer has launched several new products in India and is working on new platforms as well. Hyundai recently launched their next generation i20, that they have re-christened to Elite i20. They had earlier this year launched their compact sedan the Xcent.
Hyundai have now announced the introduction of an extended program for its customers. The manufacturer has associated itself with Allianz Global Assistance for a special 24x7 Roadside Assistance. This facility can be availed even post the warranty period of a particular vehicle.
Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing commented, "The Hyundai Roadside Assistance Program was launched in 2010, with the aim of providing emergency roadside assistance services round the clock to ensure a hassle free Hyundai's ownership experience."
He further added, "This year we are extending the policy for all customers aiming to provide them pan India reach with maximum assistance, benefit and services."
Under the Roadside Assistance program customers get nationwide coverage for breakdown and accidental towing, minor repairs on-site, assistance over phone, flat tyre support, key lockout, emergency fuel support, taxi co-ordination, medical co-ordination and custody services.
Hyundai will provide these services for nominal fees, however, there is certain criteria. The maturity of entire coverage would be unto six years from date of delivery to the 1st owner. Customers can purchase this policy within the warranty period as well.
For one year coverage Hyundai owners will have to pay Rs. 899, for two years they will have to pay a sum of Rs. 1,499. While for Roadside Assistance program for three years owner will have to pay a marginal price of Rs. 1,999, which includes everything on offer.
