The Mobilio by the Japanese automobile manufacturer has created a buzz among Indian buyers. Honda have now got on board comedian Kapil Sharma to promote its soon-to-launch MPV. We have the video below for you in which, the comedian explains the features of the vehicle in his own unique style.
The famous line in the commercial is 'Kapoor Ka Launda, Ya Phir, Apna Honda'. It is hilarious they way Kapil Sharma says it and will surely put a smile on your face. Honda will launch the Mobilio MPV in India in July, which will be manufactured at its facility in Greater Noida. It will sport the same diesel engine provided in the City and Amaze. The Earth Dreams engine will generate 205 Nm of peak torque along with 100 horsepower, and will be paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Mobilio will also get a petrol 1.5-litre engine which will be offered with CVT gearbox and a 5-speed manual. The petrol-powered engine will produce 119 horsepower and peak torque of 145 Nm. Honda has not revealed prices, however, we expect the base model to be priced competitively against the Ertiga.
The MPV segment is heating up with two significant launches, the Honda Mobilio and the Datsun GO+ MPV. Currently the segment is dominated by the Toyota Innova and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. The Mobilio is considered one of the most anticipated vehicles in India for 2014.
