Honda Cars India Limited Grows By 40% In July, 2014
July seems to be a good month for most manufacturers as most of them have reported growth. Honda Cars India Ltd. is no different and have maintained their lead in the market. The Japanese manufacturer has reported a growth of 40 percent.
Honda Cars India Ltd. has reported selling 15,709 vehicles in July, 2014. While in July, 2013 they managed to sell only 11,223 vehicles in India. This is a growth of 40 percent for the premium car manufacturer in India.
Jnaneswar Sen, Sr. Vice President, Marketing and Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd. expressed, "We are extremely happy with the progress we have made in this year. Our recently launched Honda Mobilio has received good response from the market with over 10,000 bookings since its launch."

He further added, "We are confident that it will attract more customers with its strong desirable values. We would also like extend our gratitude to the customers for the continuing success of Honda Amaze and All new City and are confident that we will continue to do well in respective segments."
Honda has recently introduced its Mobilio, the first MPV by them for India. It is available in both petrol as well as diesel. The Japanese manufacturer claims its MPV has received several bookings within no time and has sold 3,365 MPVs in July itself.

From April to July, 2014 Honda India has sold 56,427 vehicles. While during April to July of 2013, the Japanese manufacturer sold 40,350 vehicles. During July, 2014 the manufacturer exported 858 vehicles from India.
