Honda Cars India Inaugurate Their 200th Dealership In India
Japanese automobile manufacturer Honda is well know in India for their quality products. Their most recent launch was the Mobilio, which is a family MPV. They will soon be launch new products in India in 2015.
To become popular in India they have launched an aggressive advertising campaign and several promotional events. Honda have several dealerships in remote locations, to cater to the demand. They have today announced the inauguration of their 200th dealership in India.
The 200th Honda dealership has been setup in Secunderabad by Metro Honda. The new dealership was inaugurated by Hironori Kanayama, President and CEO, Honda Cars India. The Japanese manufacturer has an aggressive expansion plan for the near future.
Honda Cars India Ltd. has set a target of setting up 100 new dealerships in the coming 16 months. They plan to have 300 of their dealers across India by March, 2016. Their goal is to enter Tier III markets with a bang and have several dealerships across India.
Hironori Kanayama, President and CEO, Honda Cars India expressed "We are delighted to reach the milestone of 200 dealers in India. Network expansion is a critical part of our larger business goal of achieving sales of 300,000 units per annum by March 2017."
He further added, "As we expand our business in the Indian market, we have to move closer to our customers to be able to provide them with best customer services at nationwide level."
The Japanese manufacturer currently has 200 dealerships in 130 cities of India. Honda will continue their expansion plan and will increase it by 35 percent in FY 2014 to 2015. Their target is to have 230 dealerships in 150 cities by March, 2015.
Nihar K Mody, Managing Director of Metro Honda commented, "We are extremely happy to partner with Honda Cars India for opening our dealership and it's indeed a proud moment to be the 200th Honda dealership in India."
He also said, "I am thankful to Honda Cars India for the support and confidence they have shown in our business. Our showroom boasts of best-in-class infrastructure and we are looking forward to provide world class service experience to our customers."
