Fuso Trucks Made In India Shipped To Indonesia
Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. is all set to export its new Fuso trucks to Indonesia. They will be introducing its new range of trucks in Indonesia as it is a key market in Asia. The Fuso is Daimler's leading commercial vehicle among its range.
Daimler India along with Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation will manufacture the new Fuso truck in India and export it to Indonesia. In Indonesia, Fuso trucks are the segment leader with 45.4% share. During January to December 2013 they further grew with a market share of 53%.
Daimler manufactures the Fuso truck at its facility in Oragadam, Chennai. The Stuttgart based manufacturer has poured in 4,400 crore into its 400 acre facility. They recently commenced exports of the Fuso range of trucks to Bangladesh and now Indonesia.

Daimler has a strong presence globally and have been selling the Fuso range of trucks in several markets. They sell trucks in Bangladesh, Brunei, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia and now Indonesia. They already have orders for the Fuso in Indonesia and will be provided by a local distributor.
Daimler believes there is great potential in Asia and African markets. They will be launching several new products to support its existing line-up. The company recently achieved one million sales in 2013.
The new range of Fuso trucks will be provided in Indonesia by P.T. Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors. Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation has 18 percent shares in Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors. So far, the company has sold roughly 2,80,000 vehicles across light, medium and heavy duty trucks.
