The Paris Motor Show is an event where the world's top and best manufacturers showcase their products. The American based four wheeler company Ford will also be revealing its new Sports Activity Vehicle.
Ford will be pulling the cover of its S-Max vehicle, it will be available with a 2.0-litre TDCi diesel mill and a 1.5-litre EcoBoost petrol engine. It will offer space for seven individuals, while the driver can drive it like a small car.
The all new S-Max will be an excellent product in India and could directly compete with Honda Mobilio, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and soon to launch Datsun GO+. Stephen Odell, Ford Executive Vice President, Europe, Middle East and Africa, commented, the new S-Max boasts of striking new features and provides no compromise in terms of design, technology and driving experience.
Ford will be unveiling their new S-Max Sport Activity Vehicle at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. The vehicle will sport a fresh and distinctive exterior design. The S-Max is highly popular in Europe and was judged 'Car of the Year' for 2007.
Ford S-Max: Front View
Ford's S-Max has a unique design it has the typical front grille. It gets strong and bold lines across the bonnet. The front bumper is sculpted and gets more character, fog lamps have been well integrated into bumper.
Ford S-Max: Side View
From a side view the S-Max look long, however, it drives like a smaller vehicle claim Ford. We like the air scoop close to the front door, along with chrome embellishment around the window. Ford has provided its Sport Activity Vehicle with multi-spoke alloy wheels.
Ford S-Max: Rear View
At the rear its long and wrapped around tail light is a standout. We like the edgey and sporty look adopted by Ford. The manufacturer has also provided a lower entry to the boot for ease of storing. The S-Max gets sporty dual exhaust ports with a wide and chunky bumper.
Ford S-Max: Interior
Ford has cleaned the interior and have gone for a minimalistic approach. The dashboard gets an all black treatment with brushed aluminum accent. It gets and infotainment and dedicated climate control for rear occupants. It also gets Multi-Contour seats, along with 32 seating and loadspace combinations.
Ford will debut its new S-Max Sport Activity Vehicle at 2014 Paris Motor Show. It will be launched in Europe first and will then be offered in other countries. It is unclear if India would get the S-Max, however, it would be an excellent product to compete against Honda Mobilio, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Datsun GO+.
