Fiat Ranjangaon Plant Rolls Out 3 Lakh Passenger Cars
Fiat India's manufacturing plant in Ranjangaon, Pune, is a major facility with the capability to produce 160,000 cars annually, in addition to 350,000 petrol and diesel engine. These engines manufactured not only power Fiat's own vehicles, but also Tata Motors and Maruti Suzuki cars.

The Ranjangaon facility is a 50-50 industrial joint venture between the Fiat and Tata motors that produces a range of products from Linea and Grande Punto to Tata Manza, Indica Vista and Indica V2.
The company achieved the landmark of producing 500,000th engines from this facility last year, which include the diverse 1.3 litre Multijet diesel engine and 1.2 & 1.4 litre Fire gasoline engines.
Earlier this week, the Ranjangaon facility achieved a new milestone when t rolled out its 3,00,000th car. The facility is spread across an area of 200 acres and employees over 4000 personnel.
Fiat India and Tata Motors will continue producing their future models here, including the upcoming Tata Bolt & Zest.
