Fiat Punto Evo India Launch On 5th August
Fiat India has decided it will launch its new Punto Evo soon. The Italian manufacturer has confirmed it will launch it refreshed hatchback in Mumbai and Bangalore on 8th August, 2014. However, they have preponed the national launch to 5th August, 2014 in Delhi.
The Italian manufacturer wants to grow its foothold in India. Fiat is improving its product offering in India, by introducing refreshed along with new models by the end of 2014. SO far, they have given their Linea and Punto a much needed facelift. The plan to launch their crossover dubbed as 'Avventura' in 2014.
Fiat has intentionally changed the name of its hatchback to 'Punto Evo'. The Evo stands for an evolutionary leap into the future. The 2014 Punto Evo looks and feels modern, premium and yet elegant. There will no Punto classic sold by Fiat and the Punto Evo will replace it entirely.

The 2014 Punto Evo has been designed keeping in mind the taste of Indian market. The hatchback gets more chrome embellishment across the vehicle. The ground clearance of the vehicle has been improved, owing to our superior road conditions. The front end of Punto Evo has been raised compared to snooping loop of the previous generation Punto.
The cabin of Fiat Punto Evo has been spruced up for a more premium and luxurious feel. The hatchback will be available in both petrol as well as diesel trims. The engines will be offered in different tunes to suit owners needs.

Fiat will launch their Punto Evo on the 5th of August in Delhi and will be followed by 8th August, 2014 in Mumbai as well as Bangalore. When launched it will compete against Maruti Suzuki Swift, Volkswagen Polo and soon to launch Honda Jazz. We expect the Punto Evo to cost approximately INR 8,00,000 ex-showroom.
