The 0.9-litre petrol powered TwinAir Turbo engine will produce peak torque of 145 Nm, along with 90 horsepower, while the 1.3-litre MultiJet 2 Turbo Diesel mill will generate 80 horsepower, along with 190 Nm of peak torque.

Fiat Panda Cross
Fiat has launched the Panda Cross, which is based on its Panda 4x4 model. The dimension of the vehicle is similar to that of Premier's Rio, that is sold in India. The Panda Cross by the Italian manufacturer is a true off-roader, that can easily cope with city conditions.
Fiat Panda Cross: Front View
The Panda Cross sports a subtle and is not overly aggressive like other off-roaders. It has a stylish brushed aluminium skid plate in the front with LED Daytime Running Lights housed in them. The foglamps are placed higher up closer to the headlights. This off-road vehicle by Fiat still looks cute and has character.
Fiat Panda Cross: Side View
From the side, it gets evident that the Panda Cross is a compact vehicle. It gets plastic cladding at the bottom of doors and wheel arches to survive against the elements. Fiat have given the Cross badge on the side at the bottom of the second row door entry. The vehicle gets chunky off road tyres and alloy wheels. It also gets sporty roof rails, in case the owners plan to carry extra luggage.
Fiat Panda Cross: Rear View
Fiat has kept the rear of its Panda Cross relatively simple. It gets a skid plate in the rear as well, along with lights to assist when in extreme off road conditions. We like the high tail lights, that are separated in three individual parts. The exhaust has been replaced for a more flat oval design.
Fiat Panda Cross: Interior
The Italian manufacturer has provided the Panda Cross with premium brown and black interiors. The steering wheel is unique and has the horn in the centre, while audio controls feel specially mounted in separate spaces. The air-conditioner vents, music system and other controls have been specifically designed and add a premium feel to the cabin. A navigation system has been added in case the off-roader gets lost on trails.
Fiat Panda Cross
The Panda Cross is an excellent vehicle and we would really like to see it in India. Fiat has confirmed its Avventura for India within this calendar year. They will also be launching the refreshed Punto in India and will be rechristened as Punto Evo.
