Ferrari Employees Awarded Record Bonus
The Italian manufacturer of luxury sports car from Maranello will be rewarding its employees with a record setting bonus. Each and every employee working for Ferrari will receive a 'production bonus'.
The Prancing Horse will reward its dedicated employees with a bonus of 4,096 Euros. This is the biggest reward ever given to Ferrari employees in their long history.
The bonus comes as a reward for the hardwork and commitment the employees portrayed in 2013. Ferrari are also rewarding them as the company recorded superb results financially.
Ferrari had earlier decided it would manufacture few cars, thus increasing value and exclusive nature. The bonus awarded is not for output; however, it is for maintaining quality of their cars by employees.
The Italian luxury supercar maker has recorded an increase in trading profits by 8.3% in 2013. While revenue increased to 5% in 2013. Ferrari has also claimed this was an all time high for them.
Ferrari had earlier given their employees two advance payments of 1,000 Euros each. However, the Italian employees will also get a 2,096 Euro addition in their payslips. It will be a hike of 20% in salary for new employees.
This is a great gesture shown by Ferrari and every manufacturer should learn to keep their employees happy. There could be various ways of keeping employees happy and this is one way.
