Daimler India Commercial Vehicles To Make Senior Level Changes
Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), the subsidiary of auto major Daimler AG, announced they are making changes in their senior level to progress its Asian Business Model.
The Asian model that was introduced with Daimler Asia, combined with Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporation (MFTBC) is growing at a rapid rate.
Satyakam Arya, VP, procurement DICV, will shift to MFTBC, Japan, as the VP, procurement of Daimler Trucks Asia, where he will also take the role as the global commodity head of mechatronics for Daimler Trucks, from 1st September, 2014.

Yasuhiko Kondo GM, lifecycle management governance & operations management of procurement, MFTBC, will be the Vice-President Procurement at DICV.
Mathew Oommen, who was is assistant vice-president of product engineering, will take over as vice-president of supply chain management at DICV from August 1, 2014.
Arya who was with DICV since 2009, has put in place an effective Procurement system at DICV. He has overseen many rollout projects and discussed the needs of DICV's business plan requirements very efficiently. He also helped set up a new supplier base for DICV in India which attends not only to local requirements but also for Asia and global requirements.
Kondo has been working with MFTBC since 2005.
