The concept uses the same 550PS, 5.0-litre, V8 supercharged engine as the F-Type R Coupe, so there's more than plenty power to handle supporting duty at the time trials.
This limited-to-one Jag sees its rear window replaced by a carbon fibre two-bike rack and Blue Sky livery. The interior gets company detailing as well.
The cabin also features communication equipment that supports conversation between Team Sky's sport director and rider, that includes a separate electric supply in the boot to power radios, amplifiers, horns and televisons.
Jaguar has been officially supplying Team Sky with some high-performance beauties since 2010, notably supplying the team with a fleet of Jaguar XF Sportbrakes in 2012 and 2013.
JLR Global Brand Experience Director, Mark Cameron, says, "The development of this F-TYPE Coupé is the latest example of our shared belief to push the boundaries and provide technologically innovative solutions, both on and off the bike. The visual impact of the F-TYPE Coupé during Stage 20 will also of course bring added attention to Team Sky and our unique partnership," he said.
