Chevrolet Beat & Sail Manchester United Limited Editions Launched

Chevrolet will be promoted in the English Premier League Football team of Manchester United. General Motors India have prepared limited edition models to celebrate their Manchester United connection. A special livery will be provided to the Beat and Sail hatchback in India.

Chevrolet will sell the Beat and Sail hatchback in only the LS trim, however, buyers have the option to choose from a petrol or diesel option. The Manchester United livery will be available with the red base colour vehicle.

General Motors will make the Manchester United Limited Edition Sail and Beat special. They will provide the vehicles with Manchester United livery, special seat covers, illuminated sill plates, OVRMs with turn indicators, roof rails, entertainment and special Manchester United badging to show exclusivity.

Arvind Saxena, President and Managing Director, GM India spoke on the launch, "We are proud to announce the launch of the Chevrolet Beat and SAIL Hatchback Manchester United Editions for football fans in India. Available in limited quantity, the models celebrate Chevrolet's Shirt Sponsorship with Manchester United beginning today."

He further added, "The two models showcased at the recent 2014 Indian Auto Expo have been designed by our engineers at the General Motors Technical Center India (GMTC-I) in Bangalore on popular customer demand with exclusive Manchester United livery kits. These specially designed models will cost only Rs 69,000 over the original versions."

The Chevrolet logo will be adorned for the first time by Manchester United players on 23rd July, 2014. The English team will play against American football team L.A. Galaxy in California. The manufacturer held a 'Chevrolet Fast Moves' contest in India. The contest will be held across India on the 8th of July, 2014 and the winner will be announced on 10th July, 2014.

General Motors will provide two winners of the contest with passes to watch the first match with the Chevrolet jersey. Both the winners will be allowed to take a winner along with them. If you do not win the ticket, you can still buy yourself the Limited Edition Manchester United Sail or Beat hatchback.
