BMW is launching several products this year in India, in an attempt to improve sales. The German luxury automobile manufacturer has recently launched the 7-Series ActiveHybrid and a Signature Edition of the same vehicle. They will now launch a refreshed variant of the X3 on 28th August.
BMW had revealed its refreshed X3 earlier this year at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The majority of changes are to the exterior. The German manufacturer will not be touching the engine beneath the hood of its SUV.
The bumpers and its signature grill will be redesigned. We are expecting the new X3 SUV to sport more chrome embellishment. The vehicle will also sport new tail lamps and headlight along with new alloy wheels. Expect the wheel arches to be bolder and bigger than the outgoing model.
The new refreshed X3 by BMW will sport the same engines from the earlier model. IT will be offered only in diesel options, in the form of 2.0-litre and 3.0-litre variants. It will not be available in manual transmission and only an automatic option will be available.
The German automobile manufacturer will not be changing much within the luxurious cabin of its X3. They are planning to add subtle changes to further increase the overall experience within the SUV. The new X3 will get very minimal changes in the interior department.
We expect BMW India to price its refreshed X3 closer to the outgoing model. The SUV, according to us, will be priced between INR 40,00,000 to INR 50,00,000 ex-showroom. More details of the refreshed X3 will be revealed closer to its launch on 28th of August, 2014.
