BMW M6 Gran Coupe Launched In India
BMW have launched their M6 Gran Coupe in India on the 3rd of April, 2014. The German luxury car maker will offer their car for a price of Rupees 1,75,40,000 ex-showroom Delhi. The car will be available in the form of a Completely Built Unit a.k.a. CBU.
The M6 Gran Coupe will be available as a four door coupe with a sporty engine. BMW will provide the car with a 4.4 litre V8 engine paired with a M TwinPower Turbo. It will produce 560 horsepower along with 680 Nm of peak torque. It can achieve a top speed of 250 km/h and o to 100 km/h comes up in a quick 4.2 seconds.
For individuals who love diesel engines are in for a disappointment as BMW will offer the M6 Gran Coupe only in a petrol option. It will also sport High Precision Injection along with Double-VANOS and Valvetronic.
The German car manufacturer will offer M6 Gran Coupe in Black Sapphire, Silverstone, Space Grey, San Marino Blue, Sakhir Orange, Havana, Singapore Grey and Imperial Blue in metallic options. While a non-metallic paint scheme in Alpine white will also be available.
BMW will offer the M6 Gran Coupe with their CFRP roof, which is made up of carbon fibre reinforced plastic. The lightweight component reduces weight, while adding rigidity, compared to a normal sunroof made up of glass.
The M6 Gran Coupe will offer more space on the inside compared to traditional coupe designs. It will also feature a through loading hatch. The rear seats can be folded down into 60:40 configuration to increase boot space.
