BMW M2 Coupe To Be Globally Launched In 2015
German luxury car manufacturer BMW has launched several products in India in 2014. They have confirmed to us the launch of two M vehicles in India on 26th November. The manufacturer will be introducing India to its M3 and M4 vehicles.
BMW will be filling the gap between M3 and M4 by launching its M2 coupe model late next year. The dimension of this new M vehicle will be a bit more compact and is expected to get new customers in.
The M2 coupe will sport a mammoth sized 3.0-litre six-cylinder gasoline engine. The German engineers will attach their M Twin Turbo system to it, which will held the engine to produce maximum power of 400 bhp.
BMW will be providing its M2 coupe with two gearbox options. The first will be an easy to use 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, along with paddle shifters. The second will be for drivers that like to make their own choice with a 6-speed manual transmission.
The new M2 coupe will be showcased in September, 2015 at Frankfurt Motor Show. BMW will commence sales of the product post its showcase. The power packed coupe is set to replace the 1M coupe that is currently on offer in international markets.
The German manufacturer will offer its M2 coupe with several packages. BMW is aiming at providing more individuals with power packed vehicles at an affordable price. They want more and more people to enjoy the joys of owning a ‘Beemer'.
BMW has not confirmed if this vehicle will be coming to India, however, it will be launched in international markets by the end of 2015. We believe the German manufacturer could provide a minimum number of vehicles in India as a novelty offering.
