BMW 9-Series Concept Going To Beijing Motor Show
BMW seems like they are filling all the lost numbers in their portfolio. They also are increasing their portfolio with bigger and more luxurious cars and SUVs. The German car manufacturer will possibly now showcase a new luxury car from their stable the 9-Series at the Beijing Motor Show in China.
The Bavarian based manufacturer of luxury cars had recently confirmed that they are working on a new SUV platform, which they will name the X7. They plan to surprise everyone with their new 9-Series at China's Beijing Motor Show, which is scheduled for this month.
The 9-Series concept will use 7-Series as the base for the new concept. The similar structure will be eventually shared with Phantom from Rolls Royce.
BMW officials didn't confirm much; however, it is expected that BMW will utilise the Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe design to design the 9-Series. The Germans want to make their new car more luxurious and trendy and this concept would be the best way to move forward.
The Pininfarina Gran Lusso will sport a V12 engine, performance and engine specs weren't revealed. The car is a luxury demonstration BMW and will sport two-doors. It will be similar to the likes of their rival S-Class Coupe by Mercedes Benz.
The 9-Series is expected to be even more luxurious than their current offering of 7-Series. We have noticed BMW has a trend of naming their sporty looking cars with even numbers. While their more traditional looking cars sport a odd number. The 9-Series thus, could be a luxurious and traditional looking BMW.
