Bengaluru To Kick Off Mahindra Adventure Ceat Monsoon Challenge
India's largest manufacturer and seller of Utility Vehicles (UVs) Mahindra organises several motorsport events. They will be kicking off the fourth edition of Mahindra Adventure Monsoon Challenge in 2014, and will be collaborating with Ceat tyres this year.
The Ceat Mahindra Adventure Monsoon Challenge of 2014 will kick off from Bengaluru. The competitors will have to endure 700 kms across three days in their machines. This year it is expected that over 50 individuals will take part using Mahindra machinery.
Vivek Nayer, Chief Marketing Officer, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. explains, "In keeping with our promise of providing adrenaline pumping challenges, we are pleased to unleash the fourth edition of the Monsoon Challenge, under the umbrella brand of Mahindra Adventure. This challenge promises to be one of the biggest TSD rallies in terms of the prize money on offer."

Nitish Bajaj, VP-Marketing, CEAT Limited, added, "We are proud to be associated with Mahindra Adventure CEAT Monsoon Challenge 2014. With this rally, we are also extending our Monsoon Smart campaign to the SUV tyres segment. This unique format gives us an opportunity to showcase CEAT's superior grip and better control on varying terrain during the monsoons."
This year's Monsoon Challenge will have a total prize money of INR 3,50,000. The competition has been approved by Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI). The Challenge is India's biggest time, speed and distance rally and is held only for Mahindra vehicles and their owners.

The 2014 Mahindra Adventure CEAT Monsoon Challenge will be flagged off from Bengaluru. Participants will have to make their way to Shimoga and cross the finish line of the rally in Mangalore. There will be several challenges on offer. Competitors will have to conquer highways, B roads along with rough terrains. The main backdrop of the rally is the famous Western Ghats.
