Battery Powered Cars For Bangalore RTOs
The Regional Transport Officers (RTO) in Bangalore will soon be seen driving electric cars under a new initiative launched on the occasion of World Earth Day. By shifting to battery-powered cars, they want to send a positive signal to the public and encourage them to move away from petrol and diesel-powered vehicles.
There are ten RTOs in the city and all of them will utilise battered powered cars to travel within the city. These eco-friendly cars will start rolling from next month.
