Alonso's Reasons For Leaving Ferrari
According to Luca de Montezemolo, ex-Ferrari chairman, the main reason Fernando Alonso, team Ferrari's Formula One driver is leaving Ferrari is because he can't wait much longer to win another world title.
The two time World Champion is rumored to leave the team at the end of this season, which is two years before his contract expires.
De Montezemolo said, "He's leaving for two reasons. One is he want to test himself in another environment, and two because he's at an age where he can't wait much longer if he wants to triumph again."
There are other rumors as well that say Alonso has lost faith in the Italian manufacturer's ability to build a race winning car.
De Montezemolo, who recently left Ferrari, says Alonso's failure to win this year hurt him and he needs fresh motivation.
The Spaniard's contract with Ferrari will expire only in 2016.
In other news though, German luxury carmaker Audi is rumored to enter Formula One with Fernando Alonso behind the wheels.
Instead of having a full fledged team like Mercedes or Ferrari, Audi will most likely supply engines and make cars like Red Bull and Toro Rosso.
There is no confirmation on this however, but team Ferrari will get the four time world champion, Sebastian Vettel behind the wheels of their car for the next season.
